50 years ago, the Eagle Mk 1 was the most popular entry-level ship. It is a small single-seat fighter, and offers a lot of speed. While it is probably one of the best in its class, it is too small if you want to make reasonable profits from legal trade. It really does need the fitting of a military drive for it to be useful.
