The Saker Mark Three was designed by Mic Turner to gain up-and-coming manufacturers AAAI a strong foothold in the entry-level starship market. This had been dominated for several decades by Faulcon deLacy's popular Eagle Long-Range Fighter. With its blend of cutting-edge styling, practicality and a keen price, the Saker is many experts' tip as the main challenger to Gutamaya's Eagle Mark 3.
This is the ship you start FFE with. It's fast, manoeuvrable, and has a reasonable cargo capacity. A military drive will be a good investment, and will give you the option of either increased cargo capacity (Class 1) or greatly increased range (Class 2).
